Probs because its say "f**k you", I am buying it because how wound up people are getting about this. Don't say your not cos you wouldn't be in here arguing if you wasn't. Its precisely this reason why the song choice, dosn't really matter at all and is all about people taking xfactor to seriously. The same goes for those who don't just see the relaxed side of on the other side and would start raging if rage dosn't get to number 1.

At the end of the day its a bit of fun, some people as usual are taking things to seriously and the rest of us just laugh at these peoples and it has also managed to raise some money for Shelter.

the only things i own from a reality series are, a will young album for christmas, the xmas factor oh and it's chico time single (but that was bought years later) :P

got every other will album illegally. and leona actually. but i never listen to that :P

the point remains though. i watched the past 3 results shows and the only saturday night show i watched was the final.

The fact RATM is winning atm is good, as it at least gives all the doubters a reason to buy it, as it now actually stands a remote chance of getting #1.

This all started out as some guy on Facebook saying that he doesn't like the Xfactor and someone else should be number 1. I doubt he cared for possible captialism hypocricy or the irony behind the song lyrics to the campaign. It's just a pointless Facebook group (There are millions of them) that happend to capture the imagination of alot of people, and has ended up a bit of an internet phenomenon.

Isn't it just a bit too ironic that a lot of people are helping get this particular song to number 1, by doing exactly as they are told? This is more a testament to Facebook's ability to reduce even the most inane of things into tribal warfare of some sort; to help create an "us vs them" and divide rather than unite.

But it's not doing exactly as they are told. It is a communal collaboration. The people buying the X Factor are buying it as individuals due to the horrific brainwashing of X Factor. The people buying KITM are buying it as a group. We are legion.
