Couldn’t care less if the kid ends up rooting through bins at the back of McDonalds to be honest. Im also happy with the fact that I didn’t know hes a Geordie or indeed what he looks like.

And it is about music. Theres only so much promotion to go round, this little bollox is signed to Sony now, casting a shadow over all the hard working touring bands that they have, a lot who we don’t know. They are being suppressed by Cowell and his greed.

Perhaps I'm being naive, but surely such things can be perceived as a method of getting their message to more people. Sure they're making money from it, but if they believe in what they're "preaching" they'll want the widest audience possible and signing to a big label and participating in the GH games are necessary evils to achieve their goals.
