TG24
singles top 10 as of the time of this post: Itunes - Joe no1, RATM no2 Amazon (which apparently does count) - Joe no1, RATM no2 Play - RATM no1, Joe no2 RATM could be undone as there appears to be 2 versions of the single in the top 10 charts the 'explicit album version' and the radio edit (i guess)

Cardboard Box City
Surely this song delivers a much better message in this festive period.

brighteyes
yup. stupid campaign. if it wins, i'lll doth my cap. but it's losing on downloads alone already. couple that with the fact that you can't buy rage instore, and theres only one winner. if i had a million quid, it would be going on joe. Billy09
The Simon Cowell contrived w@nk puppet being Christmas number one doesn't bother me any more than it being number one at any other time of year. Anybody with any kind of taste in music surely doesn't take the pop charts as a serious guide to quality? It's got no relevence at all to me. The only time I cared was when it should have been Chef. The RATM tune is superb, but I can think of more deserving causes than free publicity for them.
Uncle Liam
If there was any chance of it happening, Killing in the Name would have to be No1 by now to build up sales before the X Factor single comes out in the shops on Wednesday. That doesnt appear to be happening. Edited December 14, 2009 by Uncle Liam

Billy09
Of course the reason many of us couldn't give a f**k about the charts these days is because of c**ts like Cowell who have ruined the "popular" music industry. He's worse than S.A.W. ever were.

ampersand
Main reason I'm buying RATM as it winds up folk like you so much. Its just a bit of fun, and its raising money for charity.
Paul ™
It would raise a lot more if people just donated the amount in full to charity instead of being told what to buy to make it number

Kowalski
i literally couldn't give any less of a f**k. the only folk who are getting wound up are the folk that are buying it in 'protest'. f**k you i won't do what you tell me? why are you then?
