Poleski
Looking for one to go to next year been to download but i bought a rockness ticket so i cant make that reading, leeds or sonisphere?! help please!
Lithium05
I'd wait til April to decide if I were you. Soni doesn't look like a winner yet, and certainly won't sell out with the bands announced so far. Best bet is to wait till the Reading anouncement and decide then. Hell, if Soni sales are anything like last year you may be able to get Reading tix and then pick up Soni tickets for next to nowt closer to the fest! 5co77ie
Reading is getting less rocky each year however - never been to Leeds so couldn't tell you which is better. Sonisphere is the most rock inspired festivals of those unless you fancied going to Bloodstock.
theramm
As above really, wait til' they've announced some bands for R&L and see if last year was a one-off or if they're going in a less 'rocky' direction. We bought early bird tickets for Leeds after the storming line-up in 08' (even with Slipknot pulling out) but ended up ebaying our tickets once the line-up was announced & going to Download instead. Poleski
rammstiens defo a shout though. if reading and leeds got them then it would make the decision so much easier. i dont think metallica getting less rocky. less of the headliners maybe but the lockup stage and some afternoons on mainstage looked amazzzzing. reading does look f**king awesome on tv

Sparticus
if you want a "rocky" festival look abroad. People get put off because of the price issues, more like excuses. The only weakness is the strength of the euro, but you can get flights dirt cheap. Adding it all up, i definately spent more on leeds this year than werchter. Plus the bands go on later, and there seems to have been less of an indie explosion than in the uk (i don't mind said bands, just sick of them headlining every festival in this country).
