Just been on the website, and it a disgrace.

Miss-mash of information. Information about 2009,which was 6months ago, same video of Dizzee from Radio 1 weekend, not even a rockness one! irrelevent links, 2009 sponsors, the list goes on.

Its all over the place, with reference to 2009 in most places, which would give the impression to new veiwers thats its not been updates for this year.

It is the first point where people will look for up to date info, but its shit. its is not hard to keep it up to date and relevent. Even the mock one created on the forum did a 100% better job!

Surely all the 2009 information could be moved to a "history" section, the front page should have the 2010 acts that have been announced clearly promoted, clear links to ticket outlets and price guide, and even a wee blurb to rockness virgins to entice them.

surely its not just me that visits the website looking for up to date information, and sees that lazy abortion of a website!!! I even had to get the calender out to check if the dates at the top were for 2009 or 2010, as i wasnt sure!

I know some firm will be getting paid to provide web assistance, but the organisers need to get to grips and sort it out! They need to provide a clear, up to date website that will increase excitement and buzz, not cause confusion and frustration.

Jim King- get it fu(king sorted.

I agree with this in part, in order to have the maximum people who would be interested in attending who have never been before given relevant information regarding the event 7 months from when the tickets go onsale, is an absolute neccessity.

The headliners are the attention grabbers, but as i'd imagine at least 80 to 90% of the target audience who heard the strokes were headlining and have never been, then went and googled rockness only to find a completely substandard site.

Although you may think that you can rely the word of mouth of people saying "Rockness is better than T", not updating your only official contact point until the festival not only lets down the established fanbase put potentially puts off new customers.

T in the park have regular e-mail updates from the t lady.

it shouldnt be the case of mearly updating, but in fact overhauling and creating a new fresh site...

im pretty sure Jim King took on board the critism of the site during the summer, and said he was looking to improve it... he has done next to f**k all from what i can see.

Ive given up on the website, i get all my info from here!

Jim King said last year that he was happy with the number of people attending the festival and that he didnt wanna make it any bigger. Maybe not updating the website is one method of not enticing new rockness goers??
