I think I was just happy it went ahead tbf given I brought my ticket on a whim in 2020 when we were still in lockdown in the hope it might happen.
London Stadium's sound did it's best to compromise the fun, mind. Sound system throughout was pretty weak, something I didn't experience seeing Green Day in Manchester in June (at least for the first hour - it was muddier during AI than Dookie, oddly)
Also, off-topic but it's something that Green Day's own UK tour played more shows and bigger venues than Hella Mega did.
You were very lucky then haha
I think £110 could have just about accepted, but it would be right at the top of its worth, but £135 which it basically became was silly and £150 is insane.
Whilst BST and the BBC aren’t obviously connected, there have been 2 articles in the last week on the BBC website heavily mentioning Le Sserafim…….. they’re making their UK debut tonight at the MTV awards in M’chester…….. if BST do have a KPop band playing this year, would / could it be them?
I might be seeing things that aren’t there, totally…..
incidentally, as the father of a 16 year old daughter into KPop, and thus having long ago surrendered my car stereo, Le Sserafim are possibly my favourite in that scene….. ‘Eve, psyche and the Bluebeards Wife’ is a great song…….
