Got about six inches here and won't be going anywhere in a rush. As I Iive up a half mile long one-in-four country lane the cars won't be moving for a while so no point in clearing the snow.

Lost my faithful old festival gazebo which was 'retired' to my garden, as it collapsed in the night under the weight of snow.

So hunker down and keep warm and hope the power supply holds out.

Bit of a bugger as I've got tickets for the Classic Rock Show in Cardiff tomorrow night. Not sure if it will be cancelled but if it's still on, unlikely that I'll make it.

Still snowing here in west mids, has been solidly for about 18 hours now. Schools have been cancelled but I still have to go to work at 2pm! GRRR.

Bet I get there and after an hour or two they'll send us home. They did before when it snowed this bad

Had a couple of CM in east london this morning, the city has a slight sprinkling of snow across it with more coming down.

Half my office have left as they live out in the sticks...the others won't fuck off so I am stuck here

Love this video produced by Torfaen Council in South Wales (where we've had a lot of snow). First it went on their website and now it's a big hit on YouTube.

And who says councils don't have a sense of humour?
