If I know Muse like I do, and I should do given how big a fan I am, I feel like festivals for 2025 then stadiums for 2026 is likelier.
Not that I'm sure where in the UK they could fit given others I assumed they would do are taken. Maybe BST Hyde Park given they've never done it before, though feel like BST HP is running out of slots and rumours are they might have things like Sabrina Carpenter still to announce. Least if Suprefan is to be believed.
First thing that came to my mind as well! 🙂
Other than that, do whatever feels good. The festival is immense, so be prepared to miss a lot of stuff you'd normally want to see and still have a great time. During my first Glastonbury (2011) we tried to see as many acts, stages and areas as possible, which was absolutely great, but it's not for everyone.
(12 years later, one of my highlights of the 2023 edition was spending more than an hour at the BBC Natural History Unit tent to listen how they filmed Planet Earth 3, so I have to admit, I've changed 😛 )
You would actually have much less chance as a first timer in the ballot, because ten times as many people would enter it than are willing to try get tickets at 9am on a random Sunday. If there ever was a ballot we’d all kiss our chances of going to glasto goodbye, maybe once every 20 years?
I see the benefits of the queuing idea, rewards effort! But really not fair, depending on where you live you could still be quite far from a location, and queuing overnight in the cold is really only something fit able bodied people can realistically achieve
