I hate that - sitting on the train having to listen to tinny noise coming out of someone elses head!

On the bus i get home there is always someone listening to rhianna or some such whiny shit, at full volume and you can't hear any melody just tinny whiny shitty voices eugh!!

Have you noticed we seem to be particularly annoyed today!

People who eat like cement mixers - mouths open, chomping noises, slurping, teeth gnashing together. They breathe in and out and gulp heavily like they haven't been fed for days - but their last meal was a couple of hours ago! They're usually the same people who talk to you with their mouth full too.

The most annoying part of it is, there's no real way of getting them to stop without offending them and them getting into a strop - resulting in a great payload of guilt, making you wish you really hadn't botherred.

It's such a horrible habit, and it's not like snoring that can't be helped that much, it's purely within their power to stop - but they can't be arsed, because they don't seem to care. It just annoys me thinking about it.

No excuse.

I always take it as a great insult, because it is so disrespectful. It's a sign of lazyness, to me, and I end up properly resenting their existence. It generally doesn't help that the times in which I hear someone chomping and slurping away it's also when I'm eating.

"Fantastic, my choice is either excuse myself and eat away from others, ask you to stop which never works, or stew in silence imagining all the different ways in which I could kill you using the sharp implements currently in my possession. Thankyou for these happy thoughts, you complete f**king troglodyte."

If they want to eat like dogs they should eat off the floor.

Dunno then, i just can't believe people would deliberately be pigs if they could avoid it. They must know it's socially unacceptable.

I know my husband used to get really annoyed with my aunty for chomping loudly (she had an excuse, she had suffered brain damage as a child) but then had to have an operation to remove a lump of fatty tissue from his neck. For a long time afterwards he used to gnash his teeth when he ate, and he seemed totally unaware of it. He's stopped now though, thankfully.

It is irritating.

I'm a nose breather normally, but I had bad sinus problems a few years back, and I don't know how mouth breathers manage. I always felt like I was choking.

i've witnessed people i know eating in a disguisting way and i know there's nothing physically or mentally wrong with them that could be the reason behind it. that's why it's so annoying because it must be impossible to eat like that and not realise they're doing it, which makes me think they must know they're doing but just don't care. and as purple monkey said, it's disrespectful!

i can't remember a day in my life when i haven't had the cold so i always breathe through my mouth, i eat perfectly well without behaving like a wild animal.

People who go to push a pram/buggy out in the road even though it's not a green man, there's been a few times I've seen someone try to cross a road just because it looks like there's no traffic, but it's in Glasgow city centre, the cars go pretty fast. I'd hate to think what could happen. Is it that hard to wait till it's safe to cross?

How I've put so much effort into making this a really good Christmas for everyone at home, was due to be moving today but fell very ill on Christmas day, didn't let it keep me in bed on Christmas day despite coughing blood from a f**king horrible chest infection, had my car run into and the culprit didn't stop in the car park long enough to get his number, split from my relationship, and now the flat I was moving into flooded last night and I'm not able to move in, and am £100 down already.

Sorry to sound like a self indulgent whining twat, but so f**king pissed off after trying to make it a great Christmas for all at home this year and ended up with such a shite few days. :(
