Why does happiness at a festival in a field one week, go to sadness and tears a few days later due to a festival family good friend passing away not long after we last seen him?

Dancing and singing, drinking and smoking, we partied hard in those fields.

So called "uni friends" who keep saying maybe up to the last minute of going back for our Uni's summer ball...then just suddenly ignore me, to next find out they have all come to london (where i live!) on jolly up without inviting me...and then when i text calling them out on it (and still not that pissed people forget, just a gentle reminder) I get ignored and blocked on the shity facebook. Fuck people!

So apparently my ex got remarried on Friday. If I had known I would have sent a card or flowers (seriously a nice gesture I would have done). Ah well that does not bother me

However it transpires she did not invite any of our 3 children that I have or are living with me. Ah well thats their issue with her not mine.

However the kids found out she had got married due to her change in relationship on Facebook from engaged to married, not even a call or a text. Again that is the kids issue.

However the kids are then expected to contact the bitch mum to try to get an invite to the "celebrations". Again that is the kids issue

However when challenged for an excuse as to why the bitch did not inform them she said "Your dad would have come down and caused trouble", rather than admit to the fact she does not give a fucking shit about them. Both of the kids in the house are in shock at that. If that was true why not tell them after? Also if they are saying shit like that what is that saying to my 2 youngest daughters that live with the selfish bitch?

I am fucking steaming over something that actually has nothing to do with me but that fucking whore has dragged me in to it. My kids are really upset, yet is me that has to sort it out. Anyway decided seeing as she does not give a shit she can pay maintantence whilst my youngest son finishes college.

stupid mail order catalogue. i had to make a payment by 25 may, and made it on 30 april. on 26 may i got a late payment reminder, even though my account showed the payment had been received. apparently it had been made too early and credited to april. even though my april statement didn't show it. and i have to pay by the 25th ofevery month, so it would have missed the april deadline. and even though they didn't decrease my april balance by the payment amount when they worked out my new payment schedule after i bought some more goods.

Being stuck in purgatory regarding whether or not I'm going to Download.

Basically the last few years my tickets have been provided for me by my cousin's best mate who works for LN. This year he messages me in December asking what I thought of the line-up, that was the last I heard from him directly, apparently he's put in for tickets but doesn't know whether or not the request has been accepted. So with just 4 days to go I have no idea if I'm going or not :(

(I'm not whining about the massive favour he's doing me, or about him at all, just that it's destroying me not knowing!)

Visiting my parents this week to find that my traditional local pub has shut down in the last couple of months. I've spent many happy hours in there watching the footie and it'll soon be turned into a block of flats.

What's really bugging me though, is that there's a fairly large crowd of local residents protesting its closure, talking about how vital it is for the community to have a local pub, organising petitions to get it re-opened etc. However, it's been pretty public knowledge for a couple of years that it's been struggling, and hardly any of these people have ever actually been in to support it as a business. Far more interest in being seen to care about its closure than they've ever shown in keeping it a viable business.

Biblically shit. What fest are you off to?

Wychwood .... last year I spent most of the fest curled up in my campervan feeling absolutely shite with flu ... in hindsight, gawd knows why I stayed and didn't trundle home again.

This year it's looking like I might spend as much time in the campervan, but this time to hide from the weather. :lol:
