Maxi has said that the new album will be out in April followed by doing ''all the festivals and tour'' but then thats gunna be it from them.

So this is basically a farewell.

Saying they're doing all the festivals surely means they will play V, they love it and have played it 5 times before.

So where do we think they will play on the line up?

They've been climbing the bill everytime they play, last time they played last but one on Main Stage.

Could they possibly headline?

Or would they headline the second stage?

The only way they won't play is if they do r/l.

Same place I Imagine subheadliner. Love faithless live although saw them last month at a club and they were rubbish.

If say kasabian co headline, they could easily do it with faithless. Its about time they headlined a major festival(not a dance one)

I have been researching

Ive been working on the history of V festival, which is up on the Group Forums, only 1996 and 1997 are up at the moment but when Im done I wanted it to be right up to date

Theres a big lack of respect for V and I wanted to show that it has a good history

As the V forum seems more than ever a place to shit on V, I wanted the Group Forum to be a happy positive place for people who enjoy going there, so I wanted to do some extra things on there this year, even if I might not be going myself this year.

Just announced they're headlining a festival in Romania 16-18th July

As Faithless, not the sound system, although they are playing a festival in March as the Sound System in the USA

The Romanian festival is the week after TITP, I can see them headlining second stage at TITP and V myself

faithless would be f'ing awesome, i'd willingly give up kol if they are on at the same time. (if they play like) i'd have an issue giving up kasabian though...

Im sure it was the Streets in 2005, who didn't get announced until after GG when they were headlining it

Can't see v waiting a while as faithless will be playing a ton of festivals this year, I reckon they will do glasto, t, v and oxygen aswel as all the major european ones. They will probably do 10 to 15 festivals so will be more difficult to avoidthem than c them.
