I've done Exit (08) and Open'er (09) so can anyone let onto any other similar festivals, want to indie/rock music and in eastern/central europe. no there are some out their just wanted some reviews from others

Ive only been to Rock Am. Cant recommend it enough.

I had my reservations being English going to Germany but aslong as your respectful and dont try to start a "Hitler has only got one ball" or "Ten German Bombers" chants you'll be fine. The general German English speaking is of really good standard and id say everyone I met was friendly and a good laugh.

The music varies. This year I believe Kiss, Rammstien and Muse are headlining. Kasabian and Editors have been announced and thats just the first group of bands. Should be a great weekend.

Prices are reasonable for food and drink. I believe it was 3 or 4 euros a beer and 1 euro back for returning the cup. Bare in mind its Germany so your unlikely to find cider and such.

Hurricane should be great as well. Nest years line up so far is meh, but I am sure it will get better. Less Mainstream and less Hard rock than Rock am Ring.
