rexclark
Well I live in Leicester so pretty much in the middle I'd say. Think I'll give it a go just to compare as you say.
tori1607
Well I cant really comment as i've only been to Reading but i did have a great time, except the f**king riots on sunday night with people tents going up in flames and the "angry mob" Dickheads....reading being in the centre is great, although a bit strange...we came down from scotland so it was good we could just pop to tescos to get booze and food cause carrying our tents and bags on the train was enough to carry ... VCK
Aye - at one end of the site there was a Sainsbury's (and a G'whateveryonewants for cheap umbrellas on the walk back ) and at the other end there was I think an Asda. Most handy if you haven't got a car to bring your whole weekend's supply.
jordanuk90
Depends on how you look at it but Readings is right in the middle of the city centre so it's easy to go get supplys but I personally prefer being away from it all in the countryside. robsadler
i have been to both several times and they are both pretty much exactly the same. the atmosphere's at both are the same. the only difference is leeds is in the middle of nowhere and reading is near the town. whether or not that is a good thing or bad thing is up to individual taste i guess. radiohead's set list at reading was better than leeds last year though!!! Gre
If it's the ASDA I'm thinking of it's quite a treck from Temple Newsam, especially from the campsites. There is, however, a Netto in Halton, just outside of Temple Newsam, just before the road where the bands would have drove in.
