Hello again, thank you for your replies to myu earlier posts.

Been looking at the Facebook page and two things concern me.

Folks on there are implying that you can only do one journey from the car, I'm assuming they're wrong as that would be plain daft?

Gazebos, banned or not banned, can imagine there gonna be popular due to the weather perdicitions. The 8 of us will be bringing one, what's the official word?

Any word from the management on this would be gratefully received.

Know people who have been in past years and have never had any problems with going back to their cars, and ive seen people say theres no probs wi that so i wouldnt worry about that.

Hi Guys ... can anyone please advise here as I've already emailed the info line with no success as I guess its unmanned at present. I've badly torn tendons in my ankle & struggling to walk too well (I'm an middle aged old fart too which does not help:). I'm trying to find out if the organisers would kindly let me use the disabled facilities, or at at least let me unload my car nearer the camp site. Hobbling round the site should be ok but lugging camping gear may prove to much for my wife & I (Festibarrows or not ) .... if an organiser reads this - welcome a reply &, if other forum members could advise the average distance to the campsite (loud & quiet) from the carpark I'd be really grateful. Ta.

argh no gazebos - that's a bummer! looks like rain all weekend and no gazebo to shelter under :-(

Anybody take a wheelbarrow with them to help with the journey from the car? I suppose the only problem then is that it's hanging around all weekend waiting to be 'borrowed' if you don't stick it in your tent!

I've bit the bullet and bought Thursday tickets, couldn't contain my excitement any longer

Just hope we don't have to move 2 soggy tents on the Friday to another area to be with our friends

Driving to Kendal now, staying overnight then early early trip to the site to be first in the queue See you all in the fields!

Just got home, top weather, great music from the likes of DOVES and King Blues to name but two , excellent work from the KC crew with some of the best staff around, good comedy, top DJs in house party etc etc. Really top weekend.

Bottle and can throwing mindless idiots and lazy, untidy, filthy campers not so clever. You should be ashamed.
