I remember you guys! and a particularly messy night/day under the gazebo rings a few misty bells too :P My photos still make me chuckle to this day...

If i do go for it i think i'll be driving the 180+ miles from Brum on my own (again!) so it'd be nice if there were a few familiar faces there :P

Right...come on then...(wildly optimistic) predictions for some other bands that might be announced...(in no particular order)

1. Doves

2. The Music

3. Roots Manuva

4. Boy Least Likely To

5. Delphic

6. Julian Cope

7. The Bluetones

8. Teenage Fanclub

9. Public Enemy

10. Gruff Rhys

11. Charlatans

12. Athlete

13. I Am Kloot

14. James

15. Manics

I would have said British Sea Power as well (local lads, new album out etc etc) but not sure they'd have them on again having played 2 years ago...fingers crossed!

I'd be happy with any one of these being announced....but two would be great!

and another thing,

on the mighty e-festivals K.C. page it says, and I quote:

On site

Festival goers can expect a circus big-top main stage, dance tent, Kaylied 'folk' tent, Croissant Neuf tent, a new music 'Calling Out' Stage, chillout area, and camping is available.

Querying circus big-top main stage - is it not going to be the same stage as last year??

Any chance of the campsite getting opened on the Thursday?? Failing that, anybody know of a close campsite to the festival?? Gonna be a nightmare getting my lot to the train station for 7am on the Friday morning!!! Prefer to settle in on the Thursday afternoon and relax and enjoy the first morning. probably a good way to make a bit of extra cash...charge £10 each for early entry...all we'd need would be a few loo's/bit of security and we'd be sorted!

Oooh...and I'll add Bombay Cycle Club to my list of possibilities...

:P

It is perhaps more than most other early camping tickets but we're not just opening the campsite early, we're also programming an evening (and night - we're going til 3am) of entertainment in the arena, and the cost of this is reflected in the ticket. See you there!

I have to say it will probably exclude most families, it totted up to nearly £90 for my family of 4, not really a viable option just for the privedge of setting up early - even with a 5 hour drive ahead of us!

I can see it's okay for single peeps who only have to pay once and can party all night but I personally would have been happy just chilling round my tent enjoying the scenery for a much lesser price.
