It's just too costly now days to put on and for people to pay for a ticket.    Would love the government to support in some way as festivals are such a cultural element of the UK

Not going this year as the plans fell through but highly recommend Cardinals, Man/Woman/Chainsaw, She's in Parties, Van Houten and Vlure. 

I missed that one but a friend went to it and convinced me to go the next year which was the year when Prince was supposed to play.  That was the beginning of the end for Bestival.    Even SGP is saying the model is broken so not sure if next year is happening
