I think the NME could be right about this one, especially Soundgarden at Soni, cus maybe they aren't touring until late summer cus of Pearl Jam dates. We will know soon anyway

The latter part of the artical Ive just re-read says about Emily Eavis wanting Dizzee Rascal, MGMT, somone I can't make out and Julian of the Strokes to play Glasto, then just says Rage will play over here due to their xmas number one [not glasto connected]

I'm not going to get over excited, probably mostly guess work from NME but they have been right a few times in the past. By the looks of things It could be an exciting (or perhaps very dissapointing) year!

yes but rolling stones have already confirmed they won't be touring this year, soundgarden are headlining download apprently along with metallica and ACDC - there is a announcement on 25th according to the download forums, muse are apprently headlining glastonbury.

it's all guess work to befair and they've probably got most of it wrong, the only thing they've probably got right is Eminem headlining wireless and Greenday headlining oxygen and that's only because of the so called Green Day festival tour poster that was leaked which means they also headlining Leeds/reading

how? stick them on at the same time as someone like kasabian or soundgarden and you'll get what happened last year where everyone went to watch lost prophets instead of radiohead

If Soundgarden play Download..... they will not play Reading. Download are not going to let their headliner break exclusivity two years running.

Soundgarden WILL NOT be on NME anyway. FNM was due to the circumstances, not because they couldnt play/headline main.

That could be interesting. But where woudl they play. Travisty of justice of Rammstein can headline and Soundgarden don't. Rammstien are good live, but if it wasn't for the stage show they wouldn't be headlinign anywhere outside Germany.

The Soundgarden thing is a strange one, surely they must of been offered a headlining slot at Download, so why turn that down to accept a sub spot at sonisphere?

But Soundgarden are the ones that brought one of the biggest alternative movements of the past 30 years to the mainstream. They were huge, and have released some classic songs. They have a legend quality to them.

Rammstien essentially make inuendo i german. and wear dildos on stage.
