Kyelo
Yeah but alot of the time it's because sometimes with time and increasing popularity bands become shit.
thomasowen
Snow patrols recent offerings are no worse than the dirge green day have released in recent years.
pink_triangle
To me I found american idiot a bit too much jumping on the "we hate george bush" bandwagon. I have nothign against bands being political but got the sense a lot of bands at that time were cashing in a bit.

pink_triangle
Just because a band is rich doesnt mean they wont do/say things if they think they will get richer. Just a feeling I got around that time, saying f*** george bush as about a million bands did at reading was easy way of making favour because it was what the fans wanted to hear. I would actually have respect if a band said hwo great they thought he was because despite me completely disagreeing with their politics I would have respected the fact that they were willing to stick to their principles. The funny thing is I suspect many of these millionaire musicians who screamed out how much they hated him probably vote conservative because they think they will end up paying less tax. rexclark
I didn't get that vibe at all. It's obviously there, you can certainly read the political aspects into it - but I just thought they were quite ambitious yet fun songs that worked really well in sequence. thomasowen
Terrible band, enjoyd them a few times in the late 90s, they're terrible now,
some dude
first two snow patrols albums were really good, so was final straw, i personally love the follow up to final straw (cant remember the name), there latest offering however is a bit of a let down, and they do need to stop trying to re create final strraww, anyway listen to idlewild instead i did actually see Snow patrol a few years ago, and they were really good, but now a days i can see them being a bit bland green days latest album is a massive let down in my books, it should at least be half the size and then maybe slightly lsitenable, i saw them on their latest tour and was even a bit let down by that
Vacant0
I'm pretty certain really that I already know what MOR means - but what does it actually mean? Is it an acronym for something?

rexclark
They aren't terrible no matter what you think of them, they are fine musicians who do a good job of what they do.
