Just because everybody I know that has been to both says R&L are better.

Also I can say which is more popular because I have this to back me up...

1.Fastest UK sellout record(more people trying to get tickets earlier)

2. Proportionately more posts on here even though it's technically half the size

only thing i would say about my last post is that my friends went to TITP in 08 when the line up was insanely good. that was the year that someone died though.

Thing is although I agree slightly, TITP has the fastest UK sellout record. It is vastly popular because it has no competition.

Then also look at this site - TITP has 90,000 posts, Reading and Leeds combined have 105,000

I'd say R&L are better(even though I ain't been)but TITP is more popular.

people are entitled to point out areas that could be improved on at festivals, you can enjoy a festival and go every year but that doesn't mean you have to think it's perfect.

this site doesn't reflect a festival's popularity. a festival having more posts on here means f**k all.

ok so you can still go every year even tho some aspects of the festival need improving but its the people who moan about everything in regards to the festie but still go every year, does my head in all the moans n groans from people who pick at the festival all the time.....as i said b4 instead of moaning about it dont fooking go :P:P:P

As I've said before- I'm going to Reading this year, I'm really looking forward to it, I know it will be a completely different experience than Glasto but I think that I will just take it with a pinch of salt and see how things go. I'm going with my mate to keep him company cause he goes on his own every year and it should be a really good laugh.

The thing is I don't think there is no "Best" festival and it's all down to opinion. I'm not really that snobby when it comes down to festivals even though I used to be, I think that if people go to festivals and enjoy them then that's absolutely fair enough, their having a good time and that is the key important thing, festivals= good times.

The only think I'm really concerned about is the rioting, but my friend leaves after the last headliner on Sunday so I should be ok :P
