Posted this in Reading forum, think they could be a surprise main stage headliner there, they don't play often, they're hugely popular, could they maybe headline second stage V?

They're headlining Coachella. Main Stage

I'd say if they're doing a US festival in such a huige slot then they will surely do a UK festival or two as well, Maybe at V, Glasto, TITP or Reading, at a push Rockness or IOW, gotta be one or two from that?

Gorillaz would be f***ing amazing at V but can this really happen? Not so sure myself but you just never know, it's about time V pulled off a few surprise additions to the line up

Would be awful, and I mean awful beyond comparison. I can't think anyone live more awful.

Yeah. I agree. Really good mix....and not a JLS or Sugababes in sight!

Id be gobsmacked if both JLS and Sugababes don't play V2010

But I bet I'll still have a good time.

I actually caught Sugababes after Maximo Park at V the other year and they were ok. Not amazing but they can sing and they o some catchy pop, I won't watch the new lot though.

Ha a mate who is a big pop nut went to watch them whilst I watched Maximo Park, cus they weren't mainstream enough for him to know, after MP had finished main stage, I went in the tent to find him and cuaght their last few songs, they were good live. They could sing, dunno what the new lot will be like

Doing a tour of small venues next week and have just bagged some tickets.....will wait to see them live at their own Coachella practice gigs before commenting on whether they would be good for V
