V-Fest - one night and one night camping - possible?

Is there anyway to do this? Do they sell tickets for this?

Wife is going for the weekend but cos of childcare issues it looks like best I'm going to able to do is drive down Sunday morning or something, and stay for Sunday night.

Am I going to be able to do this? I know they sell one day tickets but am I going to be able to camp there?

Unfortunately not - weekend with camping is the only way.

Day tickets don't give you a wristband / different coloured wristband and so you can't get into the camping areas.

You can't really do it but some people do manage to sneak in with friends back to the camping area if you are willing to risk it

Just make sure you have your car keys as if it goes wrong you will need to get into your car...

Didn't they check everyones arm with that UV light thing last year?

where you had to hold your arm in the air passing through, was that just into the arena or campistes too?

They are trying to make it more difficult, obviously.

You may be right about the UV's actually and im thinking back to 08 where it was easyas it was just a crowd through a fence

Security seems to be getting tighter every year (I buy a full weekend ticket so never had to try to blag my way in) but last year they were checking (feeling up!!) everyone to make sure no-one was committing the mortal sin of smuggling drink into the arena. On a night time they were definitely using the UV thing on Orange and, as there never seemed to be a massive crowd, I think you'd really struggle to get through.

I belive your right Lucky that they checked everyone into the campsites as well , but there are always other ways you could try buying a ticket

buy a sunday day ticket, Get mrs to go to campsite and take off her wristband. Get a friend to bring wristband out to you and put it on yourself. Go into camp and join yr mrs. Voila.
