1) AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Van Halen or Metallica are rumoured for Download (I bet there will there will be a third small headliner) - in my books that is one great set.

2) My Chemical romance, Foo Fighters, Blink, Green Day etc is not thinking outside the box as they are all strongly rumoured.

3) Who do I want to see? Personaly I would be happy with Blink 182, Green Day and The Strokes. Out of the box I would like The Stone Roses to reform or some pop eg Blondie, Meat Loaf or Gorrilaz,

I definatly agree the rumoured headliners are no good. I'd love to see Muse of the Foo's but I doubt both.

Want to see Gorillaz, Beastie Boys, Daft Punk, REM, The Cure, Soundgarden or SOAD but doubt they'll be any of them

As for bands that won't headline I'd like to see Sonic Youth, Pavement, Weezer, Blondie, No Doubt, Nick Cave, Hole, Ash, Feeder, Mew, Beck or the Manics and I'm hopeful for atleast a couple of those

Would so love Muse but with shows like 10 days after R&L at Wembley and Lancs CCC i can't see them playing, plus they're a dead cert for Glasto

Realistically i'd love: Green Day, Kasabian & (any rocky headliner really but:) Soundgarden - Not too out of the box is it?

Worse than Download? Not sure what you mean really seing as Download look to have AC/DC, Metallica & a 3rd out of Pearl Jam, Soundgarden or Van Halen. DL look to have the best headliners this year. To be fair this is probably due to it being the 30th anniversary of MOR but believe me, R&L would cream to snag AC/DC.

comes to opinions, slipknot prior to last year were my favourite band and I even didn't think they were big enough to headline. I went off them purely down to the fact their live shows have become so boring and predictable and the fact that corey's voice is finished and he can't do the screaming anymore.
