Lithium05
Only AC/DC are ruled out dude, the others are still possible, though in most cases incredibly unlikely. I'm fairly sure TCV will play R/L still.

Messiah Jason
Won't be too bothered if none of them turn up at Reading, only bands I really like there are TCV and Megadeth and I've seen both and sure I'll get plenty more chances to see them again. Vieuphoria
i think Download looks a tad weak this year. AC/DC are huge obviously. but the rest just seems weak. STP, Detones, Motorhead are good. The rest range from average to awful.
luckysalt
Tons to be announced yet Id say theres another 10 farely big acts to be announced at least including two more main stage headliners
Chavmeisterdeluxe
Playing Download does not rule out playing R/L at all. It's usually only the headliners who are exclusive, and even one of those wasn't last year.
thetime
I think the time when download is competing with r/l has long gone.

VCK
Some of those bands could be special guests I suppose.

theramm
Hang on...weren't there people on here, just a week ago, making a case why TCV should headline R&L?
Lithium05
Fingers crossed. They're all shit.

Lithium05
I think download will have a very strong lineup this year. So it maybe my first download.
Chavmeisterdeluxe
Bless. Could you please indulge us with a better list? Any of those with the possible exception of BFMV and Volbeat (who are good, but hardly a big name) would be quality bookings for Reading. In fact I'm sure TCV and Wolfmother probably will be booked to play Reading.
kev1664
A lot of people are saying the same thing.
VCK
Yeah, with the rumours of Soundgarden and Metallica, and the prospect of not getting a Glasto ticket I might have to take doing Download into serious consideration. Download doesn't sell out quickly either, does it?
thomasowen
I'm also considering going for a day - depending on cash flow. I really like most of the acts announced so far.

rexclark
I'd really like to see Stone Temple Piulots play at R&L.
