Status Quo

I would love to see Status Quo play Download, poss for an afternoon slot

and before you all start to turn on me remember 2 things

1) They were very important in the 70's as one of the first heavy rock bands

2) They headlined Monsters of Rock in 1982

would be nice for a bit of British classic rock nostalgia

anyone else feel the same?

they would make a good "teatime" band TBH. as much as I dont particularly like much of their stuff - quo fanboys, and people who have seen them by accident rather than by design say they are f**king great live. So I would probably stand with the "yes" crowd on this.

whatever you want

caroline

down the dustpipe

rockin all over the world

pictures of matchstick men

all great singalongs

HELL YES! Great live band, LOADS of fun! Not my first choice of listening at home / in the car but fantastic to see live, and with a good sense of humour. One of the few bands you'll see who will make you laugh with their on-stage chat. They were great at Glastonbury - I haven't seen them for a quite a few years and Glasto made me remember why I liked seeing them live.

If they ever do play Download and you're not desperate to see someone else, check them out. You might be surprised! :P
