i didn't say this year. i said after the next album if it's a success.

glasto take risks on acts. it's not all about sales, and i'm not saying they could headline any festival - you need to consider the type of crowd at each festival. i think they'd be a very popular choice of headliner at glasto.

You are correct about Glasto taking risks but Arcade Fire would be the biggest risk they have taken if they did.

when kings of leon headlined they were no bigger than arcade are now.

Wildly wrong. Even before Only By The Night, Kings of Leon were massive multi platinum selling artists Arcade are not. According to wikipedia Neon Bible didn't even get to platinum in the UK which is actually down on their first one!

I hope their next album does make them a big enough group to headline, just can't see it

ur going on about sales but jay z is probably one of the biggest selling artists glasto has ever had headlining in recent times and he was still seen as contreversial

arcade fire packed out the other stage in 07 and they fit in with glastonbury perfectly

But I reckon Rockness would be a brilliant slot for them also. They've got Friday night sunset on Loch Ness written all over them. They could headline Rockness and it would go down a storm. Who gives a toss about sales.
