Come on Jay-Z will undoubtedly be good, but having him as headliner deprives us of a rock/metal headliner, ON THE MOR ANIVERSARY, which makes me think if he plays its highly unlikely he'll headline.

Rock-am-Ring have him as a support act, which is what Download should do if they get him.

Come on, the lesson has been learnt from MCR. Lets be serious for a min. There is basically no way of JayZ being a headliner. Especially when Sonsiphere has Iron Maiden and Rammstein.

never been into this rap thing but hey ho if its JayZ then what the hell ill go watch whoever is on the 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th stage its all good might even stick around for a song or 2 to see what the fuss is about. I may not be into that type of music but even being a metal head i can appreciate that he is a big fish in the music industry and with 110,000 tickets to shift even AC may have to look at a big mainstream act and as there are none around at the moment in the rock/metal world that we could realistically get that may have to be the compromise for AC/DC.

I think the question is - would Jay Z fans go to a festival renown for it's ties to heavy rock music?

It's irrelevant anyway, the only way Jay Z would be on the line-up is if Linkin Park are also playing, and I really hope that's not the case.

However, for Download, no way! Can you imagine the complete uproar that would cause?

There is enough people screaming about the possibility of Dizzee Rascal playing and he is more "alternative" than Jay-Z!
