Just checking that website now, looks like they're doing an excellent job with the tickets. Lottery based registration with tickets requiring a photo and only the person on the photo will be admitted. Excellent work!

Gunna be absolutley FULL of kids cus its the school holidays next week. I'd rather pass.

9.01?! Thats a little optimistic: I'd be surprised if it was still functioning properly at 8.45....ticket companies are tight gits when it comes to having the bandwidth they need to stop fans from suffering. ...

So let's get this right... First you have to register by producing a perfect passport photo that passes the Seetickets test, then you have to get on-line on Wednesday morning before the site crashes, then you get put into a lottery for tickets? So much for having a free gig that everyone can go to! This isn't free - it's jumping through multiple hoops! We'll give it a try - but I, personally, hold very little hope!

Well uploading a photo and filling in a tiny form is zero effort, bearing in mind you have like 3 days to do it, and as its a lottery I don't think we need to worry too much about stressing our arses of at 9am frantically refreshing a page.

And just think of the alternative - a normal ticket sales process: an hour sat at your pc at 9am missing work/uni/whatever pressing F5 every 10 seconds, in a system flooded with touts buying 7 tickets each time, depriving real fans of the opportunity of a lifetime.

So in conclusion: its free, and better arranged than most gigs, so stop complaining!

Anyone able to explain how this lottery system will work? Don't quite understand it and I'm trying to explain to my girlfriend that I might need her to try for tickets on Wednesday for us!

I'm not sure either - its a 'rolling lottery' apparently, so that may mean there are multiple draws?

One thing I do know though is that if your girlfriend wants to go she has to register - no one who isn't registered with a photo etc can get a ticket.

'This DOES NOT mean that you have been allocated tickets. Tickets will be allocated on a rolling lottery basis to people who complete the booking process until all available tickets are allocated at which time the lottery will close and no more bookings can be accepted.'
