On wednesday, you have to go onto Seetickets at 9am and try and get them! I think this rolling lottery actually means "first come first served" please, someone, if I am wrong, correct me!!

Surely the terms 'lottery' and 'first come first served' are mutually exclusive - so why are seetickets using both of them??!!?!?

I reckon the person responsible for setting this up is a bitter x-factor fan just wanting to spite us!

But how is that really any different to the normal method?

And surely a lottery is where the tickets are allocated by a prize draw, requiring no input other than registration?

I appreciate that they have told us what we need to know, but they've used such confusing and contradictory terms that I reckon a lot of people will miss out as they'll think its a lottery and won't bother logging on at 9.

It means that you put your details in and it will tell you if you're successful and if you aren't you can have another go, and another go until all the tickets are gone.

so its a lottery but you can keep trying over and over again, hence the term rolling.

I just got round to registering, with a registration number of >266,500

I seriously hope they've invested in substantially increased bandwidth capacity since I last used them...which I seriously doubt.

Aye, I got my registration number in about the 14,000's. My girlfriend did it just there and got it within the 300,000's. Looks like a lot of people won't be going to this gig. Especially if you consider hardly anyone is going to be going for a single ticket, so the likeliness is that there is only 20'000 tickets.

I registered right near the start but still haven't got an email from them... Just registered again and my reg number is just below 400,000... Gonna be very interesting getting tickets!

Just had to fill in one for a mate and it was around 410k. Which is slightly irritating, Im sure alot of people have applied for the sake of it and aren't willing to travel to London, more than likely only know 'Killing' through the media coverage the campaign had. These are the dickheads that will have my ticket.

I wont be overly bothered if they get announced for DL tomorrow and I miss out on the free gig.

I just got an email back, which said that my photo has been rejected and it suggests that I register again... But I can't re-register, as the registration period has closed...

Any ideas, or am I just screwed?

that cant be right, my mate applied with about 10mins left and we was about number 404,000....so u have about 1 in 10 chance at best im afraid

It does, but every application -regardless of success - was given a registration number.

So there must have been a lot of rejected webcam photos then!

That number is also being reported by the BBC as well, so I assume it must be pretty reliable information.

Well i am definitely approved. I can't wait for Wednesday now (although I sense disappointment looming)
