brfcstar
no. stereophonics have a bigger back catalogue and have sold more albums for sure, but it doesn't work like that, in 2007 (i think it was?) travis played halfway down the 3rd stage, and they were huge in the early 2000's. i think stereophonics will be heading the same way in a couple of years. kasabian however are at the top of their fame, theyre selling out tours and all 3 of their albums have been consistent and sold well. j...rox
Just on this note. Kasabian in November played 2 dates at Wembley Arena, pretty much sold out but not quite, also touts were selling standing tickets for around £10 even up to an hour before kasabian were on. Stereophonics pretty much done similar however one wembley arena gig and one gig in the larger o2 which 90% sold out within a week. Tour wise this makes them similar i guess. Album wise phonics have had more but Kasabian sold more in the last year for West Ryder. I guess co-headlining would be the fair way to do it. Both bands I love so couldnt really complain. Bunny
I remember it well. Stereophonics were awesome and then most people left the main stage before Suede, it was very empty, I watched most of the set and they were'nt bad. Macy Gray in 2000 was a different story - rubbish, the worse out of the top 4 ever. I sat down through all of it, waiting for Travis, who were brillant I thought that year.
