The Big Pink

Downloaded their album the other night, probably the best indie album I have heard for a long time....woudn't mind if they were signed up to play Rockness.

I was having the same thought recently. I would like 2 see them at Rockness. *Imagines what it would be like* .

Why rex?

There is always the assumption that bands will play T, and fair enough if DF have booked them recently then I can understand this, but they can't all do T.

The Big Pink are one of the hottest "Radio 1/NME" bands going. Unless rockness gave them a decent slot I doubt they'd pay the same cash as TITP. Rockness need to get acts that will get people buying tickets, would Big Pink make people happy if they played? Yes. Would they make you buy a ticket? No.

Personally I'm glad that Rockness doesn't throw money at bands who are growing but could easily fail in a few months. I think the Big Pink will go on to big things but it's too late for Rockness to book them unless they were going to give them a high slot.
