please god no, they were absolutely awful in 2006 at Download Festival. One of the worst performances I've ever watched

I used to send them emails for a laugh saying I had good information that x was playing y. Everytime they added said band as strong rumours on their page.

I'd love to see GnR on the line up. Although I heard they were terrible at Download they were great when they played Leeds in 02.

Recent reports suggest that GnR have been on fire at recent shows. No dramatics, no hissy fits just awesome set-lists & performances. Something to do with Axl having a huge weight removed from his shoulders after 'Chinese Democracy' finally being released. I was sceptical but someone put youtube links to a show from Osaka on the Download forums & they sound REALLY good.
