Muse was one of the acts performing at the Big Day Out 2010 in New Zealand and Australia. Uprising, Supermassive Black Hole, Undisclosed Desires, Hysteria, and Starlight were the songs the band had chosen for the show in New Zealand on January 15. The crowd had the opportunity to enjoy their favorite hits along with the incredible laser show that is characteristic of all Muse live performances.

The band is currently touring Asia (Singapore and Hong Kong) and later goes to USA for a number of gigs. The British alternative rock band kicked off the New Year with an incredible concert in Seoul. Despite the freezing temperatures the concert was sold-out and the Korean audience was able to sing along ``Uprising,'' “Map of the Problematique,'' ``Supermassive Blackhole,'' “New Born,'' ``Butterflies & Hurricanes,'' ``Hysteria'' as well as more singles from their last album, “The Resistance.”

The full list Muse touring dates for 2010 have already been posted on the band’s site. UK fans can buy Muse tickets for the London and Manchester shows which are to be held in the middle of September. Wembley Stadium and LCCC are the lucky venues to host them.

Last September Muse released their fifth studio album The Resistance which has been receiving rave reviews since. The album provides a much different sound than their previous releases. The Resistance focuses on diverse and rich orchestration in many pieces.

The Resistance was voted the Best Art Vinyl of 2009. The top twenty covers of albums of the year, announced by Art Vinyl, were chosen through an online public opinion poll. The artwork for the sleeve for The Resistance was created by La Boca design firm. Their piece of art fought for the first place with ‘Journal For Plague Lovers’ by Manic Street Preachers, and Fever Ray’s self titled album which reached second and third place. The winners will be displayed in an exhibition at the Art Vinyl gallery.

It was announced earlier that Muse will be working on the soundtrack for the long-expected revival of the classical adventure film Clash of the Titans of 1981. Muse frontman Matt Bellamy already started working on the project but due the band Muse touring schedule he quit recently. Massive Attack collaborator Neil Davidge has stepped in instead. The movie is directed by Louis Leterrier (“Incredible Hulk”) and is starring Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Sam Worthington and Gemma Arterton.
