Lostprophets, Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, MCR etc all sort of lead the uprising and they'll all probably get alot bigger off their new albums - well the latter 2 anyway.

All Time Low, 30 Seconds to Mars, Kids in Glass Houses, Youmeatsix, The Blackout, Plain White T's? I dunno I don't follow it enough but I think we're probably seeing the start of something. *shrug*.

I'm not expecting the second coming of indie or anything, but I'm willing to bet one of the bands in that scene will break through and headline R/L sooner or later. It's being played in all the clubs I go to now (Albeit they're normally a bit more alternative) - I'd assume sooner or later something will break through.

It depends on experience, at the moment I'm at Nottingham Uni - one of the most preppy student unis I know. When you hear Youmeatsix, Kids In Glass Houses, Paramore etc at all the Student nights and at the SU bars I take it as a sign of where the general R/L audience is headed musically.

Last year it was 'Sex on Fire' this year it seems to be pop-punk, but hey it might never gain momentum.

Paramore are signed to Warner Bros, the same label as Paris Hilton. It's also the same label that Metallica and Linkin Park are signed to. It doesn't mean anything.

Their most recent album was produced by Rob Cavallo, the same guy who has worked with Paris Hilton. And Green Day, Kid Rock, Shinedown and Less Than Jake. Again, this is completely irrelevant.

I'm a nineteen-year-old guy and I love Paramore. As do many other people I know. It's fair to say that their fanbase is fairly young, but by that I mean people in their teens and twenties (the age range that seems to make up the majority of the Reading crowd these days) - they're not popular exclusively among twelve-year-olds.

Reading is an NME-sponsored rock festival, while Paramore are a NME-backed rock band. There is a high chance that they will play, and rightfully so. I'd be surprised if they went as high as subheadlining, however - I'd say third-from-top on the main stage, or headlining the Radio 1/NME tent.
