First announcement - what will it be?

How many bands are announced at first? dozen or so?

Kasabian, KOL, The Prodigy, Scouting for Girls, FATM, NDubz , Travis

Usually about 25 acts get announced in first announcement

Its generally all the biggest acts.

Last year it was 30 acts

The Kilers, Oasis, Razorlight, Keane, The Specials, Snow Patrol, Elbow, The Ting Tings, MGMT, Fatboy Slim, Pendulum, The Script, Paolo Nutini, Lily Allen, The Wombats, The Streets, Biffy Clyro, Katy Perry, James Morrison, Peter Doherty, Happy Mondays, Ocean Colour Scene, The Enemy, Dizzee Rascal, Lady GaGa, James, Seasick Steve, Alesha Dixon, Taylor Swift, and The Saturdays.

Obviously Seasick Steve pulled out and 2 Many DJs were added later as the arena headliner, but as you can see that was the bulk of the big acts

So around 25-30 acts again next Monday, its only 9 days away and theres very few rumours.

i reckon the prodigy could headline tbh with the milton keynes show.. but they probably won't...
