I mentioned this in passing in the 'smaller bands youd like to play' thread.

Cypress Hill played relentless boardmasters last year, this year in April they have a new album coming out.

Just listened to a radio interview they did on KROQ and they have tour plans for 'Europe in the Summer'

Anyone think they could be appearing? I think they'd compliment pretty well on the RATM day.

Or do we think they'll end up at Reading/Leeds instead?

They were awesome at Boardmasters last year, i wasnt much of a fan before i saw them but live it was a lot heavier/grittier which made the songs awesome.

I don't see them playing download. Reading and Leeds maybe if their main stage wasn't turgid shit anymore. I think thats why they played Bordmasters instead of festivals, they don't fit anywhere on the UK fest itinerary.

I'd love to see it though, it would make my year.

I'm praying Cypress Hill & Public Enemy to be announced for the RATM Saturday. Rage are obviously Cypress fans having covered 'How I Could Just Kill A Man' & PE were one of RATM's biggest influences.

Its a big rumor at the moment. But in the time i've been on the website nothing has gone to 'to be confirmed' on the festival line up listings and not happened. It's 99%.

Cypress Hill just announced they're playing France the Saturday of Download

So if they are playing Download it won't be the same day as Rage, which kinda narrows the chances
