Got an email through last night listing the following dates that Mark Lanegan is playing through Europe this April/May. Here hoping he sticks around to play a few festivals this summer too (Thursday night Park headliner at Glasto, you know it makes sense). I guess this means a new album is on the way. i thought you and davey boy already had tickets (see bands i realy must see thread)?

Not on sale yet, Ill be picking them up though.

So they're acoustic shows?

"Mark Lanegan will be doing an extensive European solo tour this spring. They will be acoustic shows, with Duke Garwood as the opening act. Check out the dates at Onewhiskey. (And/or, keep your fingers crossed for US dates!)"

argh, why does every act I wanna see have to announce tour dates within a month of glasto balance payoff deadline.

Got the Newsom & Zionx2 tickets, but couldn't afford to do ratm and lcd soundsystem, and now Lanegan acoustic. Damn tempting to do Oxford here though and stay at my sister's place again.

any ideas on how much a ticket?

I cannot believe I was so late to the party with this one. Thought I'd ordered tickets for London today but just got email saying they are sold out. Gutted is an understatement. Currently working out which of the Leeds/Manchester/Brizzle/Nottingham options are most feasible. I cannot miss this tour!

Apparently the London gig is being moved to the Scala (it's about twice the size of the Garage) so more tickets will be going soon.

The setlists for the first couple of shows have been nothing short of stunning. Mark's voice in some serious shape.

Seeing him in Galway on Friday.

I CANNOT FüCKING WAIT.

This work of sublime beauty is getting a spin :P

Anyone seen this show so far? Aparently the great man's voice is SERIOUS at the moment. Really looking forward to Friday. Tiny little venue!

Absolutely blown away by Lanegan in Galway on Friday night. Venue was perfect with a load of very knowledgeable & chilled punters in attendance. Needless to say The Voice is in pretty much perfect condition. Superb gig.

Seeing him tonight at the Scala, cannot wait. That's a superb setlist, going to be a hell of a gig. Now just need to get him booked for Glasto!
