My god was he brilliant last night, that voice of his is a thing of pure beauty. I'd not been to the Scala before, nice venue. Can't put in to words quite how much i'd love to see him close a stage at Glastonbury, still I can dream.

Def gonna check a couple of these shows. The Dam, Dubland and Belshaft all in the mixer for me. Think the tour-ender in Barca could be a worldie.

Having seen the tics and shakes from him on the last tour in 2010, I really can't see him going on and on. His health is just deteriorating.

"OH LORD PLEASE GIMME WHAT AAAAAH NEEEED..."

Fantastic gig last night. New stuff is great. Bleeding Muddy Water being my favourite both live and on the album.

Got a load of great older tunes too - Hit the City, One Hundred Days, Resurrection Song, Wedding Dress, One Way Street, Methamphetamine Blues. His voice sounded great. Really warmed up after 3-4 songs. He even said "Thank you, thanks for coming out" at one stage and was signing records at the merch stand after the gig! :O

Tuesday is going to be brilliant :)

My other half got me Screaming Trees - Last Words for my birthday. They were a brilliant band. She also got me the Chris Cornell live solo album - what a f#cking voice!

Methamphetamine Blues was absolutely stunning in Bristol. Cracking show. He did the merch signing thing as well.

Had time for Blues funeral to settle, and unfortunately I don't think it holds up to repeated listens as well as some of his earlier work. Its a good Lanegan album, but not a great Lanegan album

Agree.

Great thing about him though is that he keeps moving, keeps doing different things and keeps us interested.
