So who's actually happy with Lineup?

Tis a pretty good line up with plenty for everyone I think. I usually book festivals on who is playing and not because I have an affinity to one particular place but I wouldn't mind going again this year with that line up. Unfortunately my summer festivals are decided by when I am back in the country from work and August is a work period for me this year! :P

Still there's always June...

Ebay is where i'm heading... although a friend may come through with some freebie corporate tickets yet.

I'm keeping everything crossed!! If all else fails i'll be dusting off the balaclava and water pistol and heading down the high street on a little mission :P

I cant believe you're all cumming in your pants about this Line-up. I was massively underwhelmed when I first saw it.

KOL, Kasabian, Prodigy - fair enough your not going to go too wrong with those bands headlining, but the whole festival seems to be on some boring cycle - I mean, didnt KOL, Prodigy, Weller, Stereophonics, The Courteeners, Shed 7, The Charlatans all play in 2008 ???? Answer: Yes they did. Let alone all the other acts who seem to be on constant repeat - I mean i'm absolutely flabbergasted that Seth Lakeman isnt playing again this year as he seemed to have some sort of residency.

I'm sorry but Weller, Stereophonics, Kooks, Paolo Nutini, Scouting for Girls and Mika (ffs) turn this years line up into one huge Snore-fest for me. Typical middle of the road Pap. And I havent even started on the cheesy pop acts.

Can't just be me who thinks its shite, ...surely??

I'm with you on this one. I think it's a very predictable and samey V line-up. No originality in the headliners. Nothing against Kasabian or Kings Of Leon but have seen them at V last 2-3 years and wasn't overly impressed. Kasabian have had about 6 songs and Kings Of Leon only the 2 well known ones Use Somebody and Sex On Fire. I expected something big for the 15th anniversary of V, someone like Take That, U2, Aerosmith, something different from the norm.

The other festivals get them, V rarely do.We will probably have Muse or Radiohead and The Killers headlining again next year.

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh but I was trying to be a bit objective by listing both my positive and negative thoughts about the line-up. I have no problem seeing artists I have seen before if I like them, was just disappointed V didn't have a so called big different headliner.

Surprised they got Madness well pleased with that one. Looking forward to the next announcement, hopefully some bands I like in there. We shall see. :P
