borobud
I honestly believe we havent heard the last of the rumours, headliner wise. I'd say Blink 182 are the only dead cert. Lacney seems to be spot on with his presumed line up, that would be pleasing but i feel Franz or more of a worthy headliner than Arcade Fire, FF would really get the crowd going along with Blink and Green Day. Still i'm going for; Blink 182, Arcade Fire, Green Day I may well be clutching at straws be so are many other dissapointed Leeds and Reading festival goers! come on FR sort it out! eFestivals
I'm loving the denial and the straw clutching. I really am. Well, I have managed to find out that the Daily Star believe their Green Day thing to be correct, but not the basis for it. So it might be correct, you never know. borobud
The plot thickens. Would people be happy with Green Day been a headliner? I certainly would be what does everyone else think!?
eFestivals
p.s does this mean they will be reinstated as a rumour? possibly. Am trying to find out more.
VCK
I knew it. No way they wouldn't have a huge headliner. Blink 182, Arcade Fire, Green Day, with MCR below Blink. Sorted.
eFestivals
Is that they believe them playing is correct, but the reasons they believe them playing is not clear? correct.
eFestivals
I knew it. No way they wouldn't have a huge headliner. I'm not so sure. Stuff I've heard (which i don't know for sure to be true, tho it's well-sourced) is that there's issues making the bigger bands not want to play. leebyron
Do you really think paramore would be 2nd or 3rd from the top... Didn't they only open the main stage two years back and that was after their second album was out..?

TomDB
I honestly believe all 3 acts Neil 'announced' last night WILL play the festivals. If Green Day are to play i have no choice but to ask Daily Star, do you honestly think FR would book TWO pop-punk bands to headline as well. I have a feeling we could get My Chemical Romance ????????????????????? Arcade Fire ?????????? Green Day Blink
Role Model
if GD are playing, i'm certain it would be MCR not headlining, and not Blink.

Role Model
I have a sneaking suspicion that if Green Day were to play (they won't) that you've got that the wrong way round. Edited March 2, 2010 by Role Model
