I know there wasn't a Connect last year due to financial constraints and as they said it'd be back this year I was wondering if anyone has any info?

Can't seem to find out through google?!

With the Flaming Lips headlining Rockness last year, I had thought we might see more eclectic acts appearing at Rockness now that Connect appears to be binned.

So because I enjoyed the Flaming Lips at Rockness last year, I should be going to Download or Isle of Wight this year? I don't see any particular acts like that on either line-up.

kowalski im not a massive fan of the flaming lips but omg there show is tremendous dancing furry animals everywere what a laugh we had i liked them ,,,big dancing tellitubbies the lead singer zorbing over the crowd ...amazing i had a great time at them !!!

After 11 years of TITP I finally got bored with it and in 2007 went to Connect. Had a great time even considering the nick of the campsite. Went back in 2008 and was all set to go last year til they pulled the plug. Upside was I got a ticket for Rockness instead and had an even better time than the previous Connects.

yeah they are that i would go see them again !! im sure i seen them at T did they not replace the white strips a few years ago ..he had fake blood on him and more dancing animals lol

i went to connect for the day in 2008 and had a really good time despite the horrendous weather and complete lack of organisation.

i've never seen that many bands in one day before, the line up was great. i would have went back for the full weekened if they hadn't scrapped it.

You could consider the more expensive Electric Picnic festival in Ireland. This occurred on the same weekend as Connect and many of the same bands played both festivals, although it seems that EP was more better organised with tons more things to do. The enchanted forest sounds like the Picnics Body and Soul area. The line up will be announced at the end of March, starting of April.
