been meaning to post this for ages.

the past 2 times weve went to rockness weve travelled up the night before and had a pre-party on the beach, the security guards and workers are usually all there and sometimes a few of the smaller artists that are playing on the friday are there.

then the next morning, one of the first in, pick of the campsites

Just a suggestion... would reccomend it, great way to start the fest

Going up Thursday night again this year, staying overnight in Inverness and meeting a few people from here for some drinks

Nowhere near the same. The year we got in first we arrived 15 minutes before the gate opened and there was literally nobody there.

I always arrive early so avoid the busiest times but I can't imagine it being bad.

lol not got a clue, I look through pictures on Flickr a lot and have spotted myself and my tent. Maybe you could do that?

Ive booked ma hostel for Thursday night in Inverness, woo hoo! For person wanting to find his/her tent in the photo, does Windows picture viewer not allow you to do that, hit the plus button at the bottom of page. When you bring cursor over picture after that it should turn into a magnifying glass. Place magnifying glass over the camping areas and click, this should give you a clearer picture and bobs yer uncle.

edit: Forgot to add right click on photo on webpage and save image as.

The last few years we've got the CityLink bus from Glasgow but I think this year we'll be getting the Happy bus as it'll get us there earlier.
