OneLittleFish
Hate to say it - signs point to this being a dull season - thinking Schumacher/Alguesari, Kubica/Alonso, Massa/Hamilton/Webber/Rosberg - there was passing when the track was drying but that looks as if it's going to be the exception to the norm. Jaybles
Congrats Button, very well driven. Hamilton could of taken it, probably shouldn't have pitted. Shame that Aussie took him out. Happy to see the Brits racing well

Kowalski
Maybe if you forget about Bahrain... Maybe if you are just looking at wins... Maybe if you ignore the sight of Hamilton passing Button today I know you scots aren't good at judging success... Kyelo
Vettel deserved the win tbh other than that Hamilton outdrove Button but Button got his tactics spot on so kudos to him for that. Still can't see him being above Hamilton at the end of the season. I'd be pissed off aswell if I was Hamilton lol Schumacher, never thought he was that great before and he showed that today. Had a laugh aswell though, anyone hear the Ferrari engineer from Yorkshire I think? How he prenounced Kubica's name? "Cube-i-kay" lol nearly pissed myself

sifi
Rob Smedley is from Middlesboro. Hamilton isn't as good and Button isn't as bad as some people on here think. Webber is starting to look like a bit of a liability.
Halcyon
Hamilton was flying before being pulled in for tyres, he would deffo have been at least second had he not (very much doubt he could have court button yet alone passed him). oafc0000
No, he wouldn't. Hamilton lacks the ability to conserve his tyres like Button can. Button has a very smooth driving style that comes from his experience. Hamilton is blisteringly fast, but has not yet learnt how to conserve his tyres. Yes Hamilton didn't need to come in for tyres (the second time) when he did; but they had already started to drop off, so would still have had to come in in 8-10 laps or so... simply because he rags them too much. Button managed to conserve his second set till the end of the race (you could see how far they had dropped of in the last couple of laps). Hamilton blames the team for making him come in for tyres, but it's him that totally failed to conserve them in the second phase. Either way, he has no right to come out and publically criticise the team for it. If he has a grievance, then the professional thing to do it keep it internal - not bash his team mates to the media. I'm a big fan of Hamilton, and hope he wins the whole thing this year, but I've got a feeling that Button is going to show him up as the inexperienced driver that really he still is. sifi
It has nothing to do with experience... Its all about driving style.. Button has always been a clinical driver and Lewis will always be a racer. Not saying driver don't grow but Lewis style won't change a great deal. OneLittleFish
No one out there had any real tyre issues, to think that Hamilton did or would have is based on nothing but a presumption that he's harder on tyres than most, when there is no real precedent to support this
Benj
As I pointed out earlier, Turkey '08.
OneLittleFish
Where he finished 2nd?! Hardly big problems if he was fast enough on the hard tyres to gain enough of an advantage to be at least 30 seconds in front of his competitors! Benj
That's not the point - Hamilton is clearly harder on his tyres than somebody else, he could have won if he hadn't needed to make three stops.
