Whats the deal with the two campsites

Gonna sound like a right prat no doubt but why is there two campsites? Are they completely sectioned off from eachother? Also I'm in yellow apparently, is this a bad thing?!

Only been to fests in Scotland and you don't have to choose your campsite...

Yeah, it's two seperate sites. Both pretty near to the main arena though, so no worries. Yellow is supposedly "tamer" and more family friendly, as it's the newer one. But I know some people who have been there before, and apparently there's very little difference...And this year, with tickets selling out so far, a lot of people who couldn't get red tickets will be in yellow.

Long story short, it shouldn't make much difference...

main difference is you can't have a bbq in yellow and you can in red - otherthan that next to n difference at all

I always camp in red but I thought there were like 5 campsites at V, there's definitely more than two!

Theres 2 campsites at chelms...but more at staffs

btw ignore the rumours that yellow is tame. This is all lies haha

And I thought there was only one campsite at Staffs? Or do you just buy a ticket and then camp wherever?

I've been to V three times and every time I've stayed in Yellow. All this stuff about it being 'tame' or 'tamer' than the other campsites is rubbish. I can't speak for Red but with Yellow, there is always something going on and generally, the other people are all really cool.

I think when i went in '05 there was more then 2 camp sites though.
