Chavmeisterdeluxe
I'm still not sure on Libertines but I'd prefer them to Arcade Fire. I do believe keese to a degree, or at least I believe you believe yourself which is more than can be said for the majority of people who post news from their "sources". MJMilz14
I have heard nothing about Arcade Fire at all. I have been explicity told not to give any information out about my source, they could get caught out very easily if i say anything. As i said before, the headliners i revealed to you, are headlining the main stage. I cannot comment on whether the other bands mentioned are playing but i can say for certain that Guns n Roses, Blink 182 and The Libertines are headlining the Main Stage
theramm
Eugh, its not even G'n'R, it's just Axel and friends. Guns'n'Roses died years ago when Slash. Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler were forced out by Axel himself
Chavmeisterdeluxe
As long as Axl can still hit the notes I don't see how it matters a great deal. Sure Slash is a fantastic guitarist but I'm sure the bloke they've got in is too.
keese46
I really want to put a bet on and i have wanted to for a few years now but i have no idea which bookies would take one. I cant find any. Guns n Roses were fantastic at the M.E.N Arena when i saw them and it sounds like the real thing if you close your eyes. I would place bets on Biffy Clyro headlining the NME Stage but i have nothing to back that up at all

purplehaze81
Please don't say that. I'm half convinced that it's Noel Gallagher now.

kev1664
I dont think bookies would accept bets on things that quite a few people actually know for certain.
keese46
Like i have said many times before, i am not revealing anything about my source. It is up to you whether you believe me or not, it doesnt make a blind bit of difference to me. So stop asking as i will not respond anymore Thanks
JhnMcK
If G'n'R play I'd probably watch just out of interest, can't be as bad as Arctics last year. Never been sooo bored watching a band

Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler were forced out by Axel himself. They shouldn't even be anywhere near Leeds with the current line up being deemed as G'n'R. Honestly, despite how much I hate MCR, I'd prefer them to that c*** Axel on stage. Melvin's gone completely mental to say this is what Leeds has to offer compared to others. Its just getting annoying, its like he doesn't give a s*** about it anymore
General Lee
An interesting, but poor set of headliners if this turns out to be true. What is pretty much a Guns N Roses tribute act these days, Slightly tongue in cheek, but Blink 182 are like a poor American immatation of Ash (and I like Ash), and also were they ever that popular except with 14 year olds? Libertines - have the ever been big enough to headline? I don't think they've ever been that good either, but that arguement has nothing to do with being headline worthy or not, so I won't go into that. Not that I'm going anyway, but you had a better set of headliners last year - well, you had Radiohead...
eFestivals
Slash and Izzy left of their own volition. Steve Adler was fired by THE WHOLE BAND for his drug problems which basically meant he could hardly hold a 4/4 beat at that point. But, no, it's all Axl's fault, despite him being the only member trying to keep the band alive despite all the problems they've faced. If you don't like them, fine, go see somebody else. There'll undoubtedly be thousands of people who do like them, and they'll be having a better time than you will be. Except of course .... Slash and Izzy left of their own volition because they couldn't stand Axl. And ... "despite all the problems they've faced" really just means Axl being a cock. General Lee
Second thoughts - Blink 182 do seem to have got even more popular since being away. Also not having been regulars on the festival circuit will add to the draw. Probably worthy as headliners although they're not my thing. And, if Arcade Fire turn out to be one of them, they would be another good choice. I stand by my opinions on GnR and The Libertines though. JhnMcK
I'm unsure about the Libertines, Carl's done a solo album so he'd want to tour with that before getting back together with the Libertines. Sure I read somewhere he said no Libertines till 2011 plus they can't really headline mainstage with the fact they couldn't headline at their peak. It would be a draw for some people but they really only have a couple of stand out songs imo
JBarbour
Guns and Roses may have cost FR a small fortune The New York Times revealed how tangled and costly the making of the newest album became. According to the article, titled "The Most Expensive Album Never Released," Rose began work on the album in 1994 and racked up production costs of at least 13 million! Thats info from 5 years ago! Haha, and its a shit album, Plus they will be a UK exclusive Edited March 19, 2010 by craigb
tom91
This is believable, Radiohead last year seemed very unlikely up until it was announced just not sure they would have two reforming bands as headline acts

JAnderson
This is the company that offered the 2006 slot to a band before they had even released an album. You're probably right, but never say never.
beLIEveR
Who? Pearl Jam, Franz Ferdinand and Muse all had at least 2 albums out never mind none.
