yep, tho if it happened I'd say that AF will be the last on stage, from the word that's reached me.

But I find it difficult to believe the Libs are playing for all sorts of reasons and bits of info I've had, including info from what should be an exceedingly good source I've had today since this thread was started.

Arcade Fire's next album isn't supposed to be coming until July earliest - that's why I always struggled to see them as headliner. They were clearly a booking who would be 'assumed' big enough by August, but the next album might not even be out by then!

NME headliner? I'd say no chance, but I would have said Faith No More and Lostprophets were far too big. If Arcade Fire don't have the new album out before then, then it's possible.

What's the consensus on My Chemical Romance actually being the third headliner as previously suggested? Is it still a possibility, or have we pretty much written them off now?

I'd be pretty damn happy with those headliners, the range of acts is a lot more dynamic the previous proposed headliners, of which I still want to see

Surely it would make sense if the libertines headlined the nme tent? The NME cream over pete and he has a close relationship with them (they picked him up from court once). If this was true and they clashed with guns and roses it would be such an awesome line up in my opininon. And then MCR,Paramore subheadlining and Gorrillaz headline nme tent as well one night,we would be getting an epic line up and lots of variation. Im getting excited hahaha

Id say The Libertines first gig since getting back together would be much bigger than anything Lostprophets could pull of.

Especially at a festival like R&L
