He does say he works for Ticketmaster but he also says thats not how he gets his info. I very much doubt every ticketmaster employee knows the line up in advance, it'd never stay secret.

I dont understand how you could of read things more closely, whether or not his info is from Ticketmaster how do you know he doesn't work there, previous year's i wouldn't of doubted you could be wrong but this year, i really do think things have changed late on.

Unless he's gone back and edited his old posts from previous years since he started this thread yesterday and removed the bit where he explicitly says what his source is, the same info is available to you if you read things more closely.

I've not said whether he works at TM or not, just that his info isn't from there - because he says where it's from.

Alright, i could see them playing either tbh but the bands in this "rumour" i feel no matter how many people wish to moan many will be pleased, i think the reason people are taking this so seriously is because you haven't specified a third headliner as such; After digging yesterday did you not find anything new about the third possible headliner or is it just likely to be guns N roses ?

Well there's only like 10 days left now, do you still have no real idea on the third headliner (I'm sure most people have dismissed the possibility of My Chemical Romance) Surely if the sources are so strong they would at least have some information on the third headliner, now would be a good time to state anything else you know, excuse my ignorance

Guess this is the first time there's no definite opinion on the 3 headliners. There is loads of names being thrown about but I'm just not sure about The Libertines. Carl's said next year earliest and he's done his solo album so would most likely tour with that and no go straight into doing Libertines stuff.

Can't really see G'n'R just for the fact that their playing one festival in Sweden which could show that FR don't consider them good enough to do any festival in the UK if they've not signed up for more.

Could it be someone heard ex-G'n'R with friends and thought its Axel when its actually Slash and friends. Their doing festivals in the summer but not as a headliner

I would be very very shocked and disappointed if Arcade Fire are headlining the main stage and I think a lot of other people would be. I still think there will be another twist yet.

What if arcade fire were orginally headlining but have charged there mind... they want to co headline, sub or nme stage. Same as MCR they got signed up before the last festival if the twitter/facebook comment was correct, maybe expected to have new album out earlier or at least starting promoting

I cannot comment on whether the other bands mentioned are playing but i can say for certain that Guns n Roses, Blink 182 and The Libertines are headlining the Main Stage

I'd be underwhelmed, but we've had bands who have achieved a similar amount headline in the past. Alongside Blink and "a band bigger than Jay-Z" they're entirely plausible.
