Red hot chili peppers

Hey guys I'm not sure if anyone had noticed but red hot chili peppers was listed as self confirmed on wikipedia earlier and I went back to it a couple hours later and it has been taken down! Anyone else notice this? Seems very possible as they haven't played since 2007. What's everyone think of this

Seriously surprised if it was. My favourite band so I would love it.

However, after my last thread about them, it seemed they have been one of the worst headliners in the last decade.

It doesnt matter how bad the chillis were last time they played. They are a massive band who sell tickets. The organisers would love to have them if they were available.

If your a RHCP fan, don't spoil your enjoyment of the band by going to see them live. Seen them twice and the memories are so bad i can't even listen to the albums anymore.

Have they got a new guitarist yet to replace John? I'd say they won't be playing live for a while, especially with Flea in Thom Yorke's solo band who are bound to be doing the rounds this summer.

I feel like I'm always defending RHCP on these boards, but I have seen some terrible bands at Leeds and they were not one of them. Uninspired and bored at worst, at their best they were on fire.

By the sounds of it, they were quite bad in 07, but it was the end of a year+ long tour so you can't blame them too much.

and that josh has been playing with them for a while, as John quit over a year ago, it just wasn't announced til recently.

Personally I'd love to see them but won't lose sleep over it
