RVM1989
Within a big announcement imminent, i'm sensing something very possitive from our man Jim King. Primal Scream? Klaxons?
Kowalski
Klaxons? I think it's very unlikely to be Primal Scream.
Kyelo
Pendulum on Friday, who is the other confirmed headliner?
RVM1989
Klaxons was just a wild wild guess. Im sure in the last Q & A Jim said one of the Clash headliners was already announced so it's either club 75 or Ian Brown. Then Pendlum on Friday. I really have no idea as to who the 3rd one will be. As I said, Klaxons and Primal were both wild guesses.

RVM1989
Ian Brown then? Seems to be a pattern where on the night if the Mainstage is a dance act then the clash will be a more indie/rock act vice versa. So i'm lost for ideas regarding Sunday's clash headliner. stu150
The third headliner is yet to be announced. From Jim King Q&As Sunday will be a dance act that is unnanounced I reckon. Who is left that is big enough?
stu150
Depeche Mode, Duran Duran (really digging the back of my brain now!)
Kyelo
Kraftwerk, Massive Attack and Simian are the only ones there I reckon have any chance.
RVM1989
Kraftwerk or Massive Attack could be a good shout looking the relation between 2009/10 headliners between Rock Ness and Bestival. Aphex Twin? Or has he already been ruled out?

Kyelo
I hope not and wouldnt say they'd be good headliners Etienne De Crecy for me with the cube

Aberdeen83
It's all about size though, and Simian are big enough.
Kyelo
I don't think they are big enough to headline any festival
Aberdeen83
Agree with any of those three, Massive Attack are great live, Aphex Twin is a bit of a tricky fish to catch, he tours everywhere and nowhere. Also his sets are a bit off the wall music wise, dont expect "window licker" etc to be played. He really does his own thing regardless if the crowd vibe off him or not. I saw him at Oxegen two years back and whilst I thoroughly enjoyed it, his set went over most peoples heads as it wasnt so much dance, more like static, breaks, clicks and white noise, crazy shit indeed. Window Licker
Aphex Twin is pretty cool but as you say an aquired taste and probably wouldn't go down that well
blackg1000
Wouldn't go down well at all mate, he's got some great main stream tunes but unfortunately thats not what his sets are about, quite frankly he doesn't give a f**k and makes no qualms about that. The mans a legend but a very acquired taste indeed. Edited March 23, 2010 by blackg1000
smokedup
aphex twin at T was amazing and would happily do it again. and the visuals were f**ked up! loads of people in the slam tent didnt quite know what was going on
rachbon
i really hope it's a dance act and not an indie band. i have no idea will it will be, i thought groove aramda were a slight possibility but obviously not happening now that they're playing T. aphex twin at T was amazing and would happily do it again. and the visuals were f**ked up! loads of people in the slam tent didnt quite know what was going on
