absolutely no reason for the £5 increase. it's not like theres any added music or entertainment on the wednesday night. i'm glad im working reading with oxfam and getting in for free and not being ripped off. i do love reading, this will be my 8th year but it is a bit of a joke really

So does a normal weekend ticket just cover fri-sun, because some of the comments are making it seem like you get Thursday aswell which has confused me a tad.

early bird camping lets you in on wednesday

working with oxfam means you have to do 3 x 8 hour shifts over the weekend. In the application you state whether you can work the arrival and departures shift (which I did) which hopefully means, fingers crossed, I'll be working one 8 hour shift on Wednesday and one 8 hour shift Monday, leaving only 1 more shift over Thurs- Sunday to do. If this happens, it means i get Thursday-Sunday, bar one 8 hour shift, to enjoy the festival like everyone else

One of the most important things that you get with working for people like Oxfam is you get to camp in a separate, secure campsite with it's own toilet!

Oh, we're not raising ticket priuces this year! (but we will stick the extra fiver we would have put on the weekend tickets on the early entry instead)

I'm happy to pay a fiver more, I thought it was well worth the money last year getting a good camping spot, having an extra night in the campsite and not having anything to worry about on the Thursday.

I agree, and im going to be buying one yet again, but i do think that £15 seems a bit steep for ... well ... nothing?
