As much as I loved Blink in my youth they were always horrendous live and their recent videos don't make me confident they are any better. Every single time I've seen them they have sounded like a bad pub band.

Guns N Roses, well I've seen the new lineup a couple of times now and that is enough really, very good and really tight but it just isn't the same is it? Nothing really worth re-visiting here as I didn't think much of Chinese Democary anyway (and the good songs of it have been in the set for years)

Arcade Fire - Saw them at Leeds a few years ago and at the MEN too and to me they were just one of those bands I didn't really get and they bored me to tears.

Libertines is a good booking though, 2nd is a good slot for them.

Been every year for about 7 years so I'm not going to miss out but not really a cracking set of headliners. Paramore and MCR and Libertines to sub?

They have plenty of songs (What a Waster and Don't Look Back weren't even album tracks remember), and I wouldn't eliminate the possibility of a couple of Shambles/Pete songs getting in on the setlist.

Albion and Killamangiro were written in Libertine times, and there's others like The Delaney and Dilly Boys which might get a dusting off.

yeah Paramore, MCR and the Libs seem like the likely subs. pretty good set if i do say so myself!

i hope the Libs just stick to Libs songs. Babyshambles, Dirty Pretty Things and the rest of the side projects haven't interested me at all, and i could've seen those songs played countless times

to be fair, fairplay to keese as well who did not lie about the libs. also did not say arcade fire weren't, just no info like efests didnt of libs.

keese *did* say that the Libs were a headliner and AF weren't, privately to me at least (I can't remember if he posted it or not).

So while it seems his info was very good, it appears to not have been spot on.

i guesss with info changinging seemingly all the time, you both were right but i didnt hesitate to believe him. just hope libs dont clash although its more a see them to see them factor.

It's not changing tho. I knew that AF believed themselves to be headlining, and this has again been confirmed to me by several sources since I made my last post yesterday.
